Nicole Fields

Nicole is a single mother of three working in outreach at the Fan Free Clinic in Richmond. When her eldest son, Nathaniel, was 4 he began having serious dental problems. Nicole didn't know how she would pay for Nathaniel's treatment until he was enrolled in FAMIS. Since then, he has been able to have restorative dental work, including crowns and spacers.

Nathaniel is also able to get the care he needs to stay healthy and participate in school sports. Nicole doesn't have to worry about him getting hurt because she knows he's covered.

Nicole shares her experience and relief of being able to provide health care coverage for her children with other parents and helps them apply for coverage.
