Duran Caferro

When Duran was 18 years old and had just graduated from high school, his father worked at an organization that assists at-risk youth. However, his father was not offered coverage through his employer and did not make enough to buy private coverage.

Duran was uninsured until he was able to get coverage through Montana CHIP. But that didn't stop him from working toward his dream of being in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Duran has been boxing for most of his life and competed in the Olympic trials in Houston, Texas to vie for a place on the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team.
