Let's Get America Covered. How Can You Help?

Forty-seven million Americans, including more than 9 million children, are living without health care coverage--forced to gamble every day that they won't get sick or injured. That's a risk no one should have to take. Uninsured Americans live sicker and die younger than those with health insurance. Just one serious illness or injury can wipe out an uninsured family's bank account. And the problem is growing worse. Each year, more and more hard-working families join the ranks of the uninsured.

The time for change is now. Here are a few ways you can get involved to make change happen:

Highlight the issue in your community

Help enroll uninsured families

  • Host a health and enrollment fair
  • Order free materials that feature a toll-free number parents can call to find out if their uninsured kids are eligible for low-cost or free health coverage and distribute throughout your community.

Stay informed and help spread the word

  • Learn more about the issue and proposals to solve the problem
  • Share your views with family, friends and neighbors
  • Sign up to get the latest news and research to share with friends, neighbors and co-workers
